A fundraising campaign for Community Food Bank of Central Alabama.
About This Campaign
It’s tragic that children in Central Alabama will go to bed hungry tonight … that retired seniors can’t afford groceries … that hardworking parents are skipping meals to make sure their children have enough food to eat.
But it doesn’t have to be this way. With your support of Community Food Bank of Central Alabama today, you can put food in the hands of our struggling friends and neighbors.
This problem is bigger than hunger itself. Those who struggle with hunger are far more likely to have poor health. And hungry kids struggle in school — which can impact them throughout their lives. All of these issues perpetuate the cycle of poverty … and with it, hunger and its lasting effects.
But you can help break the cycle of hunger and poverty. With your gift today …
Every $10 you give helps us provide up to 80 meals. That’s food to nourish hungry kids … and food to sustain our neighbors for another day.
You have the power to change how hunger affects our community. Our neighbors in need are counting on you. Please give today.

Campaign to Support Community Food Bank of Central Alabama
The Community Food Bank of Central Alabama’s mission is to feed people in need today and foster collaborative solutions to end hunger tomorrow. We accomplish this mission by supplying 11 million meals a year to 230 food pantries, shelters and children’s programs in 12 counties of Central Alabama.
We also create healthy food access by feeding children at risk of hunger during school breaks, delivering fresh produce to residents living in isolated communities and providing food to under-nourished mothers of critically ill infants through on-site hospital food pantries.
